These camps are equipped with donkey boilers for hot showers and outdoor cooking facilities. For those who prefer a closer connection to nature, camping is available—bring your own tent and enjoy the wilderness. Staff accommodation is also available on-site. A variety of activities are offered at Bateleur, including hiking, game viewing, tracking, kloofing, survival skills, tree identification, bamboo art, and pioneering. Log cabins provide a fully equipped stay for up to 60 people, while wooden dorms offer centralized bathroom facilities for men and women.
